5 Morning Habits for Stress-free Life

Morning is the time when our mind acts highly receptive, whatever we will feed into our mind in morning will stay with us whole day. This makes it much crucial to have an elevated morning routine.

Adapt these 5-morning habits to bring an incredible change in your life:

1) Bless Yourself::

As soon as you wake up from sleep, before doing anything else, bless yourself. Whatever you want to see yourself, in reality, bless yourself as you have already become that person.

I am a peaceful being.

I am a disciplined person.

I am absolutely Healthy.

You can make blessings according to your requirements and repeat it continuously for around 15-20 minutes.

This method is called as Self-Affirmation.

This method is helpful to stay motivated to reach that stage where you want to see yourself, which make it beneficial for improving academic performance, health and reducing stress.

2) Drink water empty stomach::

According to Japanese medical society, having water on an empty stomach can help you in curing different diseases like aches, excess fat, kidney and urine diseases, constipation, eye diseases and many more health problems.

It also helps in maintaining the elasticity and tonicity of the skin and prevent premature wrinkles.

Drink 3 glasses of water daily empty stomach even before brushing your teeth. You can start with a glass of water every morning and can increase gradually.

3) Stay away from News::

When the quality of news that comes in the newspaper and on social networking sites are continuously degrading, it is very important to not acquire them at the start of our day.

Some people do consider it as a good habit to read newspaper daily along with the bed tea, or to include reading newspaper as a daily morning routine but in actual it is not because our mind is much receptive to the information in morning and we should not feed our mind with stressful information at the start of our day.

At least keep a gap of around 2-3 hour after you wake up for checking the news and social media sites.

4) Exercise::

Exercise is a natural and effective anti-anxiety treatment. It relieves tension and stress, boosts physical and mental energy, and enhances well-being through the release of endorphins.

Keep aside at least 15 min for a walk, yoga or workouts in morning.

Doing yoga exercises alone like Anulom Vilom and Kapal Bhati daily for 15-20 minutes increases oxygen supply throughout the body, strengthen lungs and improves the functioning of the kidneys and liver, also it helps tremendously in reducing weight, curing sinus, asthma, and hair loss.

5) Chanting “OM”::

  • Sit in any of the given positions whichever is comfortable for you and chant “AUM”.   Yoga poses
  • Om is composed of four sounds: “a,” “u,” “m,” and the silence that follows.
  • Give equal measure to each sound. For example, “Ooommm” rather than “ommm” or “ooom.”
  • Allow the vibration to rise upward gradually until it rings in your nostrils.
  • Set aside time to do it, you can set the timer in your alarm clock and continue doing chanting till the alarm rings.

Chanting OM not only improves your vibration but it also cleanses your surroundings. It increases your concentration power and makes you feel free from all the negativity of thoughts and surroundings

  2. The most relatable tip ever: do not read the news right away! It just sets your mood for the entire day, and when something grim or bad happened in the news… well you’re just so put off the entire day! Love the tips :)x
